Awesome piece of equipment.

First of all, you get what you pay for, but in this instance, I was blown away by this product. Archos has been quick to release updates making this a stable device. The graphics are very clear and beautiful. The speed is great, and I was able to put a SanDisk 64GB micro sdxc card in it for additional storage(Can't do that with an iPad). I am getting more cards for my movies and additional items, which I can then swap later when needed. With the 8GB of internal storage, I have well over 150 apps on it. Yes, the speaker in the back is a little hard to hear, but I can live with that. The games are smooth, and the videoss(movies) play flawlessly. If you read the other reviews above, you can see that Archos has been quick to respond to these reviews. I am running home switcher, and am running 3 different theme launchers on it. I am running Sbp Shell 3D, ADW Launcher, and Go Launcher EX. All very customisable except the Sbp launcher. This gives you a 3d screen with some nice bells and whistles. There are a lot of themes out there for the launchers I mentioned. This machine runs them all flawlessly with gret graphics. For purchasing Apps on this machine, you have the installed Archos apps application, you can use Amazon for Apps, and you can use the Google Play app for app purchases. All in all, for the price, quality, and quick responses to problems and updating the firmware promptly, I would definately reccomend this device to anyone. But make sureyou have the current ICS Firmware upgrade installed.

Great tablet

I have bought this tablet arround 1 month ago it works great until now. The screen and the touch is so good. Tha battery stays charged 2-3 days but it takes around 5 hours to go from 10% to fully charged and it doesn't charge if connected using USB to laptop so you must use electronic source for charging. Last thing I have contacted the support and it seems that the support needs more enhancements in USA
Overall I will recommend this product to friend and I think it is great tablet.

First of all let me tell you that ive had 3 Archos 10.0 G9 8GB tablets since 12/2011 and have had to return them all for the same problem except for the very first one. I cracked the screen on the very first tablet and had to pay like 120.00 to have it fixed which Archos had no problem doing.. while the product was still under warranty the battery started to over heat and thats when my problems started.. after i sent the unit in for repairs it took them 65 days to send a replacement (REFURBISHED). this unit crashed after about 2 weeks and i sent it in AND AFTER ANOTHER 45 DAYS THEY SENT ME ANOTHER UNIT.(REFURBISHED) well not to say it has stopped working (will not charge) i took it to a differant repair company and they have told me that the mother board is bad and that its just as easy to buy a new tablet.... so im stuck with the bill cause all the time that they took to replace the tablet(ARCHOS) took up the warranty period... So if you want to purchase this product go right ahead, but do,nt say i did,nt tell you so.. Mr. Philip C. Cain
