4It has some problems, but there are workarounds
By mamagarcia
This tablet started out fantastic! Connected to the wifi with no issues, downloading apps immediately. It is very touch responsive, perfect size, adequately heavy--not too heavy but not so light that it feels cheap. I was scared at first to put the charger in because it didn't seem to want to go all the way in. I was scared that if I pushed too hard, I would break it. I ended up firmly twisting it in and it went right in withought any issues. Following that, the charger went right in, no twisting or pushing too hard. It looks nice, although it is not the one pictured I don't believe. The dual cameras work well, although not very high resolution but I have a DSLR for that so not a deal breaker. I will say that the screen is not extremely vivid like what I am used to with my smartphone but it is very acceptable considering the price. I would have rated it 5 stars but after 20 minutes, the tablet turned off on it's own. I turned it back on and after the Android loading screen it shut back off again. Same thing happened a third time. I let it rest for about 5 minutes and attempted to turn it back on again and it seems fine. At this point I am not sure if it was just a one-time glitch or a serious software issue. Time will tell. If it doesn't happen again I will update the rating. Also waiting to give final rating after testing out the battery life as there are several bad reviews based on that.

Update: I have determined that it powered off because the battery depleted. It went from 29% to nothing in less than 5 minutes. This was a returning point for me. Even with the tablet plugged in and charging, the battery was going down. Watching Netflix, I got about 15 minutes in on a 37% charge and plugged in. So it was definitely using more energy than it could get from the charging. I contacted the seller and let them know I would be returning it; however, due to the holiday I had an extra day to mess around with it and figured something out. When you get this tablet, the default brightness is turned ALL the way up. This is NOT necessary. I went to the display settings and turned the brightness all the way down. It is still sufficiently bright enough to do anything I need to do! Not to mention the battery life is now 10 times better than before. I can now watch Netflix and with it plugged in I am gaining battery. Without it plugged in, I can watch a 45 minute show and only lose around 10% in battery life. This is negligible compared to what it was. Not the longest battery life still, but I can definitely live with it for the price. Another thing I learned is that when you let the tablet rest for a while, even though it still shows you connected to the wifi, it pauses the connection. At first I thought it just quit working. All you have to do is go in to your settings, turn off the wifi and immediately turn it back on. Voila! It works. So there are a few things about this tablet that are somewhat of a hassle but with a little work, you have an ok tablet that is more-than-ok for the price. It's not a Galaxy Tab or iPad, or anything fancy like that, but I do think it was fair for the price. I am going to keep the tablet.

5The Tablet that I have been waiting for.
By Carmen
It had seemed that I would never find a good tablet for the money I had to spend. I am a online student and I have bought 9 tablets and I have had problems with every single one of them.

This tablet had everything that I have been looking for. A perfect size screen, dual camera, lots of space, plays perfect movies and netflix. The WiFi is great. The speed goes really fast but like any tablets it will slow down if you let to many programs run in the back. It lets you connect to the play store and downloads anything you need. This tablet also comes pre-rooted for those of you who knows what that means. I have had this tablet now for about a week and I am not having any problems what so ever. It is worth the money.

1Don't Purchase
By Shanon
Tablet took 10 hrs to charge initially. Shut it down after using it briefly the first day and it would never get off start up page again. Returning but will have to absorb the $40 return shipping cost. Lesson learned.
